Eagle

Today I woke up and went to work at 10 for another monotonous day! But after I got out I got to go golfing with my buddy Wiley. It started out pretty bad as I double bogeyed the first hole and the following that up I triple bogeyed the next hole. I was pretty upset after that but then came the third hole, a 360 yard par 4. This is where I hit a drive that split the fairway as I watched it soar with a slight draw knowing it was going to be a good one. After that I walked up to the ball to scope out my next shot that lay about 50 yards from the green. The pin lying front and center as I step up to the ball. This was there I hit the ball and as I watched it I knew it was gonna be a close one. As I continued to watch it I saw it land on the edge of the green to one hop and roll into the hole for an eagle two. Now yes, I'm excited to get an eagle but what stokes me even more is the fact that it's my first eagle on a par 4. It's my first ever shot that I holed out from a good distance. Now when it's all said and done, I shot a 42 which I'm pretty happy about considering the first two holes I shot 5 over and the last 7 I shot 1 over. Too bad the round had to end after 9 holes due to a thunder storm:( but overall it was a good day:)
