Cedar Point

FREAKIN UNBELIEVABLY AMAZING! This weekend I went to meet my family and some cousins up in Sandusky, Ohio to a place none other than Cedar Point. It happens to be only the greatest amusement park in the world! I drove up early Monday morning to meet them at the gates at 10 and stay the whole day, they have 17! roller coasters as well as some crazy other rides. Since I've been there last they've added a new coaster called Maverick and must I say its awesome. It takes you to the top of a 105 ft hill to drop you not almost straight down but inverted at a 95 degree angle til your 5 ft from the ground. Then, midway through the ride it accelerates you from 55 mph to 70 mph. It was definitely worth riding. The next coaster that blows my mind is a coaster called Top Thrill Dragster. It's only a 55 second ride but thats because it accelerates you from 0-120 mph! That's right 100 freakin 20!!! in less than 4 seconds! To top that off it takes you straight up and straight down a 420 ft drop, the tallest roller coaster in the World until last year! I was reading the facts about the horsepower for this ride... A normal dragster has 6,000 hp, this ride has a tantalizing 10,000 hp. Some other roller coasters I have to mention are the Wicked Twister, Raptor, and of course THE MILLENNIUM FORCE. It use to be the tallest and fastest roller coaster when it was built but it has to be my favorite ride. Its got all the elements 310ft tall, 92 mph, 2 1/2 mins long, and the smoothest roller coaster they have. It was one of the best times I could of had for a days trip not only cuz I love amusement parks but because I spent it with some of the people I love the most!
